This website showcases some of the recordings I’ve made over the last few years which I’m particulalry proud of. I’m especially keen to share the fantastic live music I’ve recorded and mixed for The Selector. It’s an award winning radio show commissioned by the British Council and syndicated to 39 countries around the world. Our remit is simple – To provide listeners with 2 hours of the best in new British music. This includes a hefty slice of live music, which I’ve been recording in session and at various club nights.

.

Throughout a radio career spanning more that 15 years, I’ve also produced lots of electronic music. I co-own a record label called Pyramid Transmissions and have released on other established labels. And outside of the studio, I’ve performed live shows in the USA, Germany, Spain and Portugal and landed slots at festivals such as Bestival and BLOC.

Whilst producing The Selector, I’ve expanded my musical horizons by recording live music for the show. Given that 4 million people tune in every week, I figured I owed it to musicians to do a decent job – So I swatted up and applied the knowledge gained over the years of producing electronic tracks to recording and mixing live bands.

And it seems like the long hours slaving over a hot laptop were worth it. In November 2013 I was delighted to be nominated by The Radio Academy as Best Live Music Producer/Engineer in the Radio Production Awards.

Now I’m available to anyone looking for a producer, mixer or engineer to work with. Having recorded an array of different musicians, I’m open to all kinds of genres and will help you realise the full potential of your music. My studio is based in South Manchester and I’d be especially keen to hear from local musicians looking for someone to work with.

Have a look around the place, take a listen to some of the stuff I’ve done and if any of it floats your boat, drop me a line.
