About
I'm a highly experienced audio and music professional based in Manchester. For over two decades I've worked as a producer, sound designer and educator.
My work spans documentaries for BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 3 and BBC World Service, alongside independent commissions from the LSE, Patagonia, RTE and others.
As a musician I release electronic and experimental work as Pathic on my own Pyramid Transmissions label — a practice that has run parallel to my broadcast career since the late '90s.
I was the longest-serving producer of Selector Radio for the British Council, and won several awards during my tenure.
Since 2016 I have provided technical tuition at The University of Salford - teaching students skills in various facets of radio and podcast production and creative audio techniques.
